From Swamplot:
“The Montrose Land Defense Coalition will hold a rally this weekend at Menil Park to raise awareness of H-E-B’s plans to build a new store on the site of the long-gone Wilshire Village apartment complex.”
The rally is this Saturday at 1:30pm near the corner of Dunlavy and West Alabama.

Thanks Daniel. I think it’s worth noting the comments already posted on the Swamplot site.
We actually didn’t realize H-E-B purchased the land. On the one hand a park would be nice, but on the other, having an H-E-B so close would be fantastic. In any case, you’re right about the comments…especially the ones about it being hard to imagine a large store would just donate the land.
