- Richwood Place is the southwestern most neighborhood in the Neartown district of Houston, Texas. The neighborhood contains a diverse mix of single family homes, town homes, apartments, businesses, retail, and even includes a small city park (Ervin Chew Park).

Neartown
- The Richwood Place Civic Association is part of the Neartown Civic Association.
The Neartown “super neighborhood” was established in 1963. However, parts of the area, known as Montrose, have a much longer history. Montrose was originally established as a planned community 1911, growing the suburbs of Houston to the southwest. Today, Montrose and Neartown are synonymous terms to describe our wonderful, eclectic part of the city.
